Luo Ning, a contemporary, young, up-and-coming Chinese jazz pianist, has his own unique take on jazz and classical music. Whoever hears him play or watches him perform is quickly enveloped by a powerful sentiment of passion tinged with a hint of stifling oppression, occasionally hidden, and other times very much present.
